The Everpure EV9799-32 SS-IMF ScaleStick Replacement EV979932 uses a Hydroblend compound to inhibit mineral scale deposits and prevent corrosion in water-fed equipment. It is ideal for use with ice machines and ice applications, but can also be used with office water and coffee applications (if water temperature exceeds 125 degrees F, the cartridge requires a high-temperature housing).

Because the Scale-Stick dispenses a controlled amount of the food-grade Hydroblend compound, it is a more practical and effective scale prevention method than standard phosphate treatments.

The Scale-Stick cartridge fits Everpure's older 8" IMF Housings as well as Everpure SR-X housings when used with spacer (EV3114-69, not included).
