Everpure Water Filters and Accessories

Everpure builds filtration cartridges and filter heads for drinking water, and the line reaches past the kitchen sink into spa, bath, and point of use systems. The design is built around a head that stays plumbed in place while the cartridge itself twists out, which is what makes a change quick and leaves the plumbing connections untouched.

Cartridges in this category are designed to reduce lead and organic chemicals along with the chlorine taste that follows municipal water into the house. What comes out is water without the chemical aftertaste, and that shows up first in coffee, tea, and ice, where the taste of the water is most of the taste of the drink.

Scale is the other problem these cartridges address. Everpure media is made to hold back the lime and mineral buildup that coats the inside of an ice machine, a coffee brewer, or a supply line and slowly shortens the working life of that equipment. Water running clean through a machine is easier on the machine, so the filter protects more than the glass it fills.

Selecting a cartridge starts with the head or the system already installed, because Everpure cartridges are matched to a specific head and model number rather than to a generic size. The number printed on the old cartridge is the fastest way to confirm a match, and the specifications for each cartridge name the systems it fits and the capacity it is rated for.

Replacement timing varies by cartridge and by how much water passes through it, so most manufacturers suggest working from the rated capacity in the manual rather than from the calendar alone. A household on hard water or well water usually reaches that limit sooner, and a cartridge feeding an ice machine or a beverage line will get there faster still than one serving a single kitchen faucet. The signs are familiar enough once a cartridge is past its useful life: slower flow, a taste that starts to come back, and scale showing up again on the equipment downstream. A subscribe and save plan keeps a fresh cartridge arriving on schedule, which matters most for filters that are easy to forget about until the flow starts to slow.
