Kenmore Refrigerator Water Filters

Kenmore refrigerator water filters are the replacement cartridges for Kenmore refrigerators with a water dispenser or an ice maker. Kenmore refrigerators are manufactured by Amana, Frigidaire, GE, LG, and Whirlpool, so a filter that fits a Kenmore may say Amana, Frigidaire, GE, LG, Maytag, or Whirlpool on the label. A different name on the box does not mean the wrong part.

Because of that, the model number is what matters. The number printed on the cartridge currently in the refrigerator, or the filter part number listed in the owner manual, identifies the right replacement more reliably than the appliance brand does. Heavy use or sediment in the incoming supply can shorten the interval, and a drop in flow at the dispenser is the other sign that a cartridge has run its course.
