Frigidaire Refrigerator Water Filters

Frigidaire builds water filtration into many of its refrigerators, so the water and ice leaving the dispenser pass through a cartridge before they reach the glass. That cartridge is a consumable part. As it fills with the sediment and chlorine taste it was designed to reduce, flow slows and the water starts tasting the way it did before filtration. Replacing it on schedule is essentially the whole of the maintenance.
